Veeraj Shah

Veeraj Shah is a recent graduate of the University of Maryland in biology and public health, and an incoming PhD student in Public Health at the University of Cambridge. He is passionate about leveraging both technology and policy-level solutions to improve preventive health globally. During his undergraduate, Veeraj served as a president of PHBB UMD for two years, co-founded two digital health startup companies, and worked with the US Surgeon General on a variety of public health policy initiatives focused on the COVID-19 pandemic. Veeraj is eager to bring his experience as a public health researcher, entrepreneur, and consultant to advance PHBB’s mission and ensure excellent governance of its Board of Directors.
