Sara Hatfield

Sara Hatfield is a senior at the University of Maryland studying community health, with an expected graduation date of December 2021. She is a graduate of the Global Public Health Scholars Program. Sara has previously interned with Bright Beginnings in D.C. through the Do Good Institute’s Impact Interns Program. This fall, she will be interning with the Johns Hopkins Center for Injury Research and Policy. This summer, Sara represented PHBB, Inc. in the Do Good Institute’s Summer Accelerator Fellows Program and currently serves as a mentor and advisor to the PHBB-UMD chapter; she previously served as PHBB-UMD’s Vice President and Social Media Chair. Sara has experience within the mental health non-profit space, having interned with the Director of Development at the National Alliance on Mental Illness and with Evolving Minds as a Fundraising & Campus Development Intern. Sara is excited to leverage her coursework in global/public health, internships in the non-profit sector, and passion for PHBB to continue moving the organization forward!
