Dr. Ali Hurtado

Dr. Hurtado Choque is an Associate Professor and Extension Specialist at the University of Maryland. His research, teaching and service focuses on family and community health, funded by federal, state and local grants. Dr. Hurtado has developed, implemented, and evaluated health promotion interventions at the family and community levels in the US and abroad, for example: rural and urban Maryland, Peru, Honduras, Bolivia. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, tasting new foods and walking his dog, Dakota.
