Crystal Huang

Crystal Huang is a senior biochemistry major with a public health minor at Temple University. She has been involved with PHBB since her freshman year and is now President. She co-led the 2025 Peru trip and held initiatives in nutrition, hygiene, menstrual health, and water access and quality in the rural communities of Compone and Paucartambo. At Temple, she serves as a College of Science and Technology Peer Advisor, helps manage the college food pantry (Cherry Pantry), contributes to Grey Matters, an undergraduate Neuroscience journal, and volunteers at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Her clinical background includes working as a Patient Care Technician and volunteering at Geisinger Medical Center. She has also conducted research at Xiberlinc, a neurotechnology company in Tokyo, Japan, and with the Neural Injury Biomechanics Laboratory at Temple. As a first-generation college student, Crystal hopes to attend medical school and pursue a career in neonatology or maternal-fetal medicine.
