Christina Memmott

Chair of the Communications & Outreach Committee

Christina Memmott is a Consultant with RAINN, the largest anti-sexual violence organization in the United States. RAINN created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline. In her position, Christina works with various client organizations across a diverse range of industries, including corporations, educational institutions, youth services, and healthcare, to strengthen their sexual misconduct prevention and response programming. Previously, Christina served as a Global Health Corps fellow at the Inter-American Development Bank, supporting health-systems strengthening and policy-based projects across Jamaica with the goal of reducing the burden of non-communicable disease. Christina has a Master’s in Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, with a focus on international health and behavior change interventions. As part of her undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland, Christina was a project lead for the Public Health Beyond Borders Sierra Leone project and traveled to Sierra Leone to provide education on first aid and malaria prevention, as well as conduct qualitative research into the impact of the 2014 Ebola epidemic on the Calaba Town community. Christina is especially passionate about the intersection of health, human rights, and gender equity across the globe.
