She joined Public Health Beyond Borders (PHBB) in her second year at Daystar University when the Kenya Chapter was first established, beginning as a member before rising to serve as Vice President. During her tenure, she championed strategic partnerships with government institutions and development organizations and pioneered PHBB's first long-distance community project in Migori County focused on addressing Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). Candy holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from Daystar University and currently serves on the Board of Directors of PHBB Inc. alongside her role as Head of Digital and Social Media at Cape Studios, the production hub of Cape Media. She also serves as a consultant for some government intitutions. She envisions PHBB Inc. growing into a globally recognized organization that unites chapters across the world, fosters collaboration beyond borders, and leads impactful public health projects that create lasting change in communities worldwide.
